    1) What political problems resulted from a weak central government under the Articles of Confederation?

    Answer

The political problems which resulted were inflation, trouble with other countries, weak economy and rebellion.

    Explanation

inflation occurs when the increased prices for goods and services combined with the reduced value of money.

trouble with other countries will disrupt a good relationship with other countries and the country will not be able to trade with others and also wont be able to move on with the current technology because there is no interaction.

there was also weak economy. when there is war the economy cannot grow because many people are displaced.

The Articles of Confederation established a weak central government because Americans were fearful of a strong central government based on their recent experience as British colonists. However, this weak central government had several different problems including:

    1) No power to enforce national laws.

    2) No power to tax citizens in order to generate revenue.

    3) No power to compel representatives from different states to vote on national issues.

    4) No executive branch (aka president).

    5) No power to force individuals to serve in the military.

All of these flaws made the Articles of Confederation a highly ineffective system.
