How did the work of architects, such as Filippo Brunelleschi's church of San Lorenzo in Florence, synthesize Renaissance ideals in its design?

    Brunelleschi's church had a very classical look that was very much alike in Renaissance design by itself. The dome on top of it was of old design like the ones of the Byzantine Empire. The Renaissance reflected a lot on old designs and his was very much like that. The inside was very proportionate and made a large and spacious area.
