Which explains a difference between the constitutional monarchy established in England and absolute monarchy established in Spain

    A constitutional monarchy, means there is still a "monarch" but similar to American style government they have to follow a set of rules based on a written or un-written constitution. Absolute monarchy is when a ruler does not have to follow a set of rules listed out by a written or in-written constitution.
