    The correct answer is the 26th amendment.

    The 26th amendment gave 18 year old citizens the right to vote in elections. This amendment was a result of constant protest by college aged students during the Vietnam War. Many of them were angry at the fact that they were forced into military service through the draft but could not even vote for the people getting them involved in this war.
