Do you think that the people who feared a strong central government supported Hamilton's idea of a national bank? Why or why not?

    No, they didn't support a national bank.

    Reasons: The national bank would benefit the rich and privileged class (stockholders) making them to become even more rich and powerful. The national bank would hinder the formation of state banks. The constitution did not give the national gov't the power to create a national bank.
