What you are referring to is the Spanish Missions church that has historically been a hub for education of American Indians and their conversion to Christianity. However, it's name was change and is now known as the Alamo Mission in San Antonio or simply put the Alamo. It was the battlegrounds in the famous Battle of Alamo in 1836.
