Compare and contrast the domestic policies of Lyndon Johnson and Ronald Reagan.

    There was a lot of contrasting decision between the domestic policy of Lyndon Johnson and Ronald Reagan.

    Explanation: Lyndon Johnson in his famous presidential speech declared the Great Society policy for America to make prosperous. On the other hand president Ronald Reagan imposed a policy based on four pillars.

    Lyndon Johnson financed a lot of schools and public projects through government funds. On the contrary Reagan cut off the budget of public project.

    Lyndon has worked for social welfare, public housing project and poured a lot of money to bring equality in the urban society. On the other hand Reagan had tighten money supply to prevent inflation.

    Johnson had taken a vast steps to make the country more prosperous and founded in a lot of socio-economic policy. But Reagan has funded more in defense department for Soviet issues.
