After the defeat of the First World War and the label of the culprit for losses and suffering, Germany was in a difficult economic situation. One of the main elements that can be used to strengthen a totalitarian idea is a bad economy. People in difficult material and economic condition accept "sound" ideas about the quick recovery and launch of the economy and accept totalitarian ideologies. Hitler used this by blaming the Jews for the bad economic situation in Germany, and promising that, if the they get rid of Jews, they will start the economy and regain the national pride that was slaughtered after the defeat in the WWI.

    The answer is: A)
