    d. If they have a steady food supply, people can develop a complex society

    Explanation:

The development of civilization is directly linked with food supply before men used to live in small groups of nomads that went from place to place after food and hunt. But once men developed ways of production of food such as plantations and farming animals, humanity started to develop.

Once the focus was not food any more men had more time to focus on other things, more people were born, social structures started to develop, new tools were created and civilization as we know now started to develop.
