Alexander's Empire went from Greece, all the way up to Pakistan. The reason why he stopped at the outskirts of India though, is because his army was already waning, they wanted to return to their families after all this conquering. Secondly, they were so incredibly outnumbered, that Alexander decided it was simply not worth it, and turned back.

Alexander The Great was one of the greatest conquerers of all time. He spread the Greek culture to Asia Minor, Egypt, Mesopotamia, and India.

Alexander assumed the throne when his father was assassinated. Soon after he started the conquest of the Persian Empire. He crossed to Asia Minor, defeated the King Darius of Persia and conquered Aleppo. After, he conquered Syria and Egypt in 331 BCE. There he founded the city of Alexandria. Soon after, he conquered Phoenicia.

Later when he married a Bactrian noblewoman called Roxana and secured the Persian Empire under his control, he marched to India.
