    b. brought indentured servants and small farmers together against the colony's rich planters and political leaders

Bacon's Rebellion was the first of many social class status clashes to occur in the colonies and the US. It was led by Nathaniel Bacon against the coastal elite and government of Governor Berkeley.

The people of the Virginia back country were upset over the government not supporting people on the frontier in particular against Indian attacks. Bacon believed the government of Governor Berkeley was ineffective. The rebellion against the government proved that there were differences in the colonies despite the people being of English origin.
