an important reason that Russia exports a lot of electricity to countries in Europe is that it is liek some say Russian grand starategy or resource policy, due to fact that Russia exports and supply Europe in electricty and gas to create some form of dependecies and to make achiving their goals easier in interntaional politics to have Europe approval, this strategy worked till the conflict in Ukraine in 2014
