    Explanation: The two theaters war was the war in Europe, as well as the war in the Pacific. An important battle for the pacific theater was the battle of Midway. In this battle, Japan lost four fleet carriers. The loss of these carriers hindered japan for the rest of the war. An important battle in the European theater was the battle of Berlin. This was the Germans last stand against the allied powers. This was the last major battle in that theater.

    The four major (there were more) members of the axis powers were the United States, France, the Soviet Union, and the United Kingdom. The Axis powers were Germany, Japan, and Italy.
