    Good morning!

    a. movies provided relief from the everyday problems of the great depression.

The artistic production of the twentieth century was motivated by the great wars and internal conflicts that took the world in the period. Realism was set aside, and sometimes surreal scenarios were created, aimed at promoting a certain detachment from reality and, therefore, a relief from the preoccupations with the present. Films in the escapist style have made a success by acting just in that direction.

    Hugs!
