WWI had an enormous impact on the European Continent as well as the world. The war had enormous economic, social, and political implications that ended empires, redrew lines on the map, established new countries, and revolutionized political orders across the European continent. In addition there was much needed rebuilding and reconstruction across the continent as a result of war and the reintegration of societies that were dealing from the conflict. In addition there were international organizations that were forming out of this period in an attempt to deal with preventing future Great Power conflicts such as the League of Nations.
