    The first hominid to migrate out of africa was the homo erectus. This is an extinct species of humans. This group of people are known to be hunter-gatherers and where known to be successful in living accordingly with the different environment in the world. From research, it was found that they first appeared around 1.9 million years ago and the last species were present around 30000 years ago.
