    The 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments were all important additions to the constitution because they were passed regarding African Americans. The 13th amendment abolished slavery. The 14th amendment guaranteed citizenship, equal rights, and due process for all of its people (except native Americans). Lastly, The 15th amendment allowed people to vote regardless of race (except women).
