Why was wine adopted as a ritual drink in Christianity, but Islam prohibited the use of alcohol?

    Well Christians used it for occasions and special activities and for formal stuff, but it got out of hand, while the Islamic people saw that if you have too much it would poison you and make you do idiotic things
