President George Washington was the first to create a Presidential Cabinet, his included four people; Thomas Jefferson (the secretary of state), Alexander Hamilton (the secretary of treasury), Edmund Randolph (the Attorney General), and Henry Knox (Secretary of War). So the cabinet is just as old as the presidency it's self.
