What did Dred Scott argue in the Scott v. Sandford case?

    He argued that because he was in a slave free state that he is technically not a slave to his master "which is accompany with Dred Scott", and that he dose not have to go back with him to the slave state where they came from.

    PS: This also brought the attention of the Supreme Court.
