A policy of favoring native inhabitants over immigrants (B)

    Explanation:

In the 1920s American natives developed/had serious dislike of Immigrants who were mainly freed slaves who came mostly from Africa and this dislike for the immigrants lead to bad reactions to immigrants. unlike with Racism people of the same race can as well dislike themselves owing to the fact that other person was/is a Native of the land while the other migrated there.

there was a national political policy called Nativism in the 1920s and this included strict laws against immigration i. e strong immigration restriction measures. the main aim of Nativism is to promote the interest of the natives over that of immigrants.
