The treaty of Paris ended the American Revolution in 1783. How many years passed before the United States was again at war with Great Britain?

    The United States fought a second war with Britain in 1812. That makes a difference of 29 years. Because of some conflicting interests or the diplomatic situation in Europe, there were possibilities of another war with Britain or a war with France in the 1790s, but that did not happen.
