Name two innovations or inventions that came about during World War II. Explain why such innovations occur during time of war.

I don't know if I'm correct or not, but one innovation or invention was the relocation camps, every Japanese American had to be relocated to one of these camps because the Americans thought that they would turn on them. Another thing that was invented was the jerry can, I thought I should write this because I couldn't think of anything else.
