What is Relative Location?

Relative Location is expression the location of something relative to or based upon something else. For example, I could say that my pen is 6 inches to the right of my paper. That explains the location of my pen relative to my paper. In terms of Geography, degrees are often used in terms of measurement on a global scale. Hope this clears things up.
