What was the reaction of other Native American groups to King Philip's War? Other Native Americans joined the war, some siding with the settlers and some with Metacom. Other Native Americans decided the wisest course of action was to remain neutral and see which side succeeded. Other Native Americans joined Metacom's forces, all fighting against the English settlers. Other Native Americans banded together to stop Metacom's attack on the English settlers.
