    1) Lord is an appellation for a person or deity who has authority, control, or power over others acting like a master, or a ruler.

    2) The word lady is a term of respect for a woman, the equivalent of gentleman. Once used to describe only women of a high social class or status, now it may refer to any adult woman.

    "Lady" is used before the family name of a woman with a title of nobility.

    wife of a lord, a baronet, and a knight, and also before the first name of the daughter of a duke, marquess, or earl.

    3) A warrior in the time of the Middle Ages.

    It can also be a young servant or follower; a military attendant.
