In 1945, a newspaper editor sent out an article commending about Manifest Destiny. (the 19th-century doctrine or belief that the expansion of the US throughout the American continents was both justified and inevitable.) Others for religion reasons, and quite a few for the gold rush

Explanation: Many Americans who moved west in 1849, hoped to find gold, especially in San Francisco California, where there were large deposits of this precious metal. There were many Americans who initially looked for it in streams and rivers in an artisanal way, but then they used more sophisticated extraction systems that in fact found many amounts of gold and became millionaires, but after many immigrants from continents such as Europe, Asia and part Latin America exceeded the existence of metal, they were given the task of going in search of the mineral resource, turning this fact into the Gold Rush of California.
