    The correct answer is B. The creation of the Medicare and Medicaid programs in 1965.

    Even though these programs were implemented after Kennedy's assassination in 1963, these ideas developed as a result of his New Frontier program. The goal in creating these programs was to provide medical care/insurance to elderly and low income families across the United States. However, due to the amount of Congressional conservatives who disagreed with Kennedy, these programs were not implemented until the Lyndon B Johnson presidency.
