How did patterns of family life and attitudes toward women differ in the northern and southern colonies?

The Southern family life attitude toward the women different from the North. In the southern colonies, women considered being serving the purpose of bearing children. Women look after the household and the children. In the Northern family, women seen as valuable than the south. Family structure is much more balanced than the South. Women in the South married at a younger age and gave birth within two years, which led to high death rates than in the North, where the family structure was pre-plan.
