How have the rights and roles of women changed in the last fifty years?

    Woman’s rights have changed dramatically in the last 50 years. Suffrage for white woman was in the 1920s however the right to vote was still being questioned for colored woman. In most places, black women couldn’t vote until 1940 and Muslims couldn’t vote until 1970s or so. Women also wanted rights for equal pay and equal education and job opportunities.

    Yes, women used to be known for taking care of the children and house and it wasnt equal between men and women. Women now are treated more equal than before like with jobs, voting. Women arnt the ones taking care of the kids, cooking, cleaning all the time now, its a shared role. There is more freedom for women.
