By the end of the world war 1 and as the 1917 was getting over, the Tsar family, their nepotism and the extravagant life style and the poor economic management and political leadership had plunged Russia in a deep economic mess and the common, poor people were suffering severely while the rich oligarchs were getting richer by exploiting the poor.

The marxism and the communism ideologies that promoted fair treatment of all people and eradication of class differences got popular because of this harsh background in Russia.
