Who primarily filled the jobs in new factories erected in the second half of the nineteenth century?

    Industrial revolution was an massive undertaking, and the factories sprung up quickly. The factories needed a lot of manpower to produce the goods and the biggest number of workers consisted of the people who came form the countryside and the small farms along with the migrants.
