Languages have changed over time through migration because during migration, many people all spoke different languages. Like for example, when people were migrating to the United States of America, people spoke French, Spanish, English and many other languages. And while people were migrating, languages got all mixed up and then there are now different meanings for words that we all use today. Like in the Spanish language, there are a couple of words that sound the same but also don't mean the same. And also in the English language, there are also many words that sound the same that mean the same.
