    Yes, Black Code was another form of slavery.

    Explanation:

    After the Civil war and the abolition of the slave trade in America, the white-dominated parliament of the United States of America still sought ways that they can restrict the freedom of African Americans (Freemen). So, they came up with the Black Code otherwise referred to as Black Laws which focused on governing the conduct of Black Americans. The Black code was employed by the White American to promote political dominance and suppress the freedmen. The code was essentially passed to restrict black influence in America.
