Almost all the colonies were dependent on the plantation of some crop, mainly tobacco and rice but not everyone had the same conditions for example South Carolina crops were cotton and rice.

Slavery was one of the most common feature in all colonies, and slaves used to do all the hard work in the town, from plantation to cleaning the house, the colonies were totally dependent on slaves, however the number of saves varied from one colony to another.

Building material was expensive as well as the construction of any building. In most of the colonies religious freedom was given to a certain extent. Aristocracy was common leaving only North Carolina which was less aristocratic.

Maryland is considered to have founded to accommodate more Catholics which we don't see in other colonies.
