For most of the human history, life on the Arabian Peninsula was very hard, and this was due to the climate and landscape occupying this are. Because there is not a single river with constant water flow throughout the year, the vast deserts that occupy most of the peninsula, very little to no agricultural land, extreme heat, and sandstorms, the people living in here were not able to have permanent settlements and develop big and organized cities that will flourish, but instead had to live a nomadic life and constantly move from place to place in order to survive.
