Who is abu bakr and why is he important in the history of islam

    Abu bakr is one of the earliest converts to Islam. He was a chief adviser to the Prophet Muhammad. After Muhammad's death, he was elected leader of the Muslim Community. He was also the first man converted to Islam when Prophet Muhammad introduced the religion.
