    The result of assembly-line production, interchangeable parts, and specialization of labor is the mass production of goods. Goods would be produced at a higher rate if it follows two methods which are the (1) segregation of work based on the capabilities or specialization of workers, and (2) the use of automated machines.

    All these forms of technology greatly sped up the production processes. This made it much easier to mass-produce items and find employees who became proficient at what they were hired to do. This greatly improved the number of items available for consumers and, in turn, led to increases in the amounts of money available to business owners who took advantage of these new types of production technology.
