The Treaty of Versailles stated that Germany could not build their armies or take over any land. What lesson did Hitler learn after Great Britain gave in to his demands for taking over sections of Czechoslovakia?

Hitler learned that he could simply annex other territories, or build up the German army, in other words, violate the terms of the Treaty of Versailles, and there would not be any real consequences for Germany and his rule.

For this reason, shortly after annexing Czechoslovakia, Hitler decided to invade Poland. Neither Britain nor France did enough to prevent this, and, Hitler succeeded in annexing the country.

Hitler became so motivated for his success, and the lack of real consequences to his actions, that he ended up invading France, successfully taking over the country in 1940.
