How were the changes to american society brought on by the american revolution limited?

Not all people in united states actually happy because of the American Revolution.

a large number of American people actually already accustomed to the way of life as it thought by the British empire. This made a lot of our people still conduct several things like it used to before the revolution, such as using slavery for plantation, etc.
