Does the Constitution describe the duties of the Supreme Court? how have these duties developed?

    The answer is no. The Constitution did not describe the duties of the chief justice (the supreme court is led by a chief justice) or the associate justices. Instead, the duties have developed from laws, through tradition, and as the needs and circumstances of the nation are developed.
