Two rectangular walls each with a length of 12 feet and a width of 23 feet need to be painted. It cost $0.08 per square foot for paint. How much will it cost it to paint the walls?

    12*23 -

    10*20=200

    10*3=30

    2*23=46

    200+30+46=230+46

    230+46=276

    276*.08=22.08

    It'll cost $22.08 per wall - > $44.16 total.

    If you get the area of the wall by multiplying 12 x 23 you get 276ft^2. You then multiply the area by the cost of each square foot of paint ($0.08). This gives you the sum of $22.08. You then multiply this number by the number of walls (2). This will leave you with the answer of $44.16
