    Explanation:

    The confederate states were the states where the act of slavery was very prominent and these states got separated from the other states of the United States of America.

    All this led to the civil war between these two groups in the United States of America. But the people who owned at least twenty slaves under him were not drafted in the civil war or for the military services.
