There were four main causes of World War I: militarism, alliances, imperialism and nationalism. The first world war was a direct result of these four main causes.

To answer your comment it is yes the answer you got was really hard to understand simple terms when he got shot the area he came from got angry they declared war well both of them started to call on alliances and ww1 happend
