How does alexander hamilton uphold the idea that the constitution grants the federal government the authority to create a national bank? the supreme court's interpretation of the constitution created powers that resulted from their rulings. the constitution grants powers to the federal government as a result of enumerated powers. it can be assumed that the creators of the constitution meant to include certain powers even if they are not listed. hamilton believed that all federal authority was vested in the president and he or she could do what was best for the economy?
