Why did the United States involved in Vietnam

    Because of their anti-support of communism which was trying to trail South Vietnam owing to the fact that they [the US] were in Cold war with the Soviet Union.

    The French who were in charge lost in trying to repress the tension from the North which is dorminated by the Communist government.
