Merchants demanded the Articles be revised to promote

    Answer: Option B

    Explanation:

The articles of confederation mostly focused on limiting the power of the central government and it gave more power to the state government. It gave state government the power to impose the taxes and this power was not given to the central government.

Even though the state government has imposed taxes on the import of goods but still it could not stop goods importing from Britain. There fore the merchants of the United States of America wanted the articles to be redefined.
