How did the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union grow out of world war 2

    It started because the US didn't really trust the Soviet Union following the end of the second world war. Tensions started growing due to this mistrust which eventually resulted in the war (Which wasn't actually a war but an arms race between the US and the Soviet Union) and then also ended a few decades later.
