Had you been alive in 1965, which approach to civil rights would you have supported-King's nonviolent resistance approach or Jackson's law and order approach? Why?

    I would have supported Kings nonviolent resistance approach.

    Explanation:

    I would use his approach because of the goal of the approach which is to promote change in the society without violence of any kind.

    His approach made the people more active and vocal in demanding for equal rights in a nonviolent way.

    Dr. King led this movement in the late 1950's and '60s to achieve legal equality for African-

    Americans in the United States.

    The power of words and other acts of nonviolence, like protests, grassroots organizing, and civil disobedience were the strategies Martin Luther King used to achieve his goals. He lead campaigns against poverty and international conflict. He also maintained that men and women in all parts of the world, regardless of skin color or creed, are equal members of the society.
