Explain how and why the American media is censored to some degree even though a free press is protected by the Constitution

Tough question. Extremes are censored like nazism and communism. But the lable of nazi or commie is so broad and untrue that someone who maybe is a little right wing will get banned and it somewhat holds true for the left.
